Birds of prey are also referred to as raptors, and are actually birds which hunt and feed on other animals. They take other animals by force and apply great strategy to hunt their prey.
These birds are usually characterized by accurate and keen vision, allowing them to detect their prey during flight, along with powerful talons and beaks. Another general feature of these birds is the fact that females are usually larger than the male species.
